Who We Are

We are a German-French couple, living in Asia, who celebrated our destination wedding in one of our favorite parts of the world – Provence, in the South of France, in May 2024.

Our journey to this magical day was filled with anticipation and meticulous planning, as we dedicated more than one year to organizing the perfect wedding celebration – sheer endless online searches, scrolling of Instagram profiles, late-night phone calls to wedding vendors,  and hundreds of emails included!

Throughout this time, we navigated the list of questions that every couple faces when planning a wedding abroad:

How do we discover the ideal wedding venue that captures our dreams and represents who we are?
Can we truly afford a destination wedding?
How far in advance should we secure our chosen venue?
Where do we find reliable wedding vendors who understand our vision?
Is a wedding planner essential for ensuring everything goes smoothly?
These questions seemed endless, each one adding another layer of complexity to our planning process.

It was through this experience that we felt compelled to create this website.
We aim to share our experiences with couples dreaming of a destination wedding, particularly in the picturesque landscapes of Italy and the South of France—two of the most sought-after wedding destinations in the world that we have frequently visited and traveled to.

In our blog posts, we share the insights and knowledge we gained, highlighting everything we wish we had known before embarking on a destination wedding journey.
