What We Like About Château de Chantilly
1. Ideal for weddings with 80-100 guests (even though much larger groups can be accommodated outdoors), offering an intimate yet grand atmosphere.

Château de Chantilly: Wedding Cost
Expect to spend approx. US$50,000 in rental fees for Château de Chantilly. This does not include catering or any other vendors required to organize a wedding.
For those who do not wish to rent the venue but only take photos on its grounds, wedding photos are allowed for a fee of US$420. This includes access to the chateau’s grounds for the couple and their photographer, with additional charges for any extra persons.
The Space

For weddings, you can enjoy the breathtaking backdrop of the castle’s facades for an outdoor vow exchange and pre-dinner cocktails. The lush gardens and small lake provide a serene, picturesque environment perfect for such moments.
Areas of the chateau can be privatized for your celebration. Our favorite indoor space is the Galerie de Peinture, or Painting Gallery, a spectacular space for an indoor wedding dinner for up to 80 guests.
As the evening progresses and it’s time to start dancing, guests are usually invited into the Capitainerie, where the arched ceilings create a warm, intimate ambiance, reminiscent of an old wine cellar. Dancing can continue here until 2 a.m.
Alternatively, for those seeking a more vibrant atmosphere, an outdoor celebration can be arranged with fireworks, video projections, and a tented dance floor. The Château de Chantilly offers a truly magical experience, combining elegance and versatility for a memorable wedding celebration near Paris.
Overall, the chateau is composed of various charming indoor and outdoor spaces. Note, however, that the main château serves as a museum open to the public during the day. The venue can be rented for private events outside its public hours.

There is no onsite accommodation at the château. The nearby town of Chantilly offers various hotels and guesthouses where you and your guests can stay comfortably and enjoy the full experience of this iconic region.
