Château de Tourreau: Wedding Cost
Rental fees start from approx. US$50,000 in April and go up to approx. US$100,000 during peak season for a 3 day/4 night stay. This includes the privatization of the entire venue and the 16 onsite rooms. Not included are additional wedding costs, such as event catering or decorations.
The chateau does not provide wedding planning services, and outside wedding vendors – including a mandatory wedding planner – are required to organize your big day.
The Space
Château de Tourreau features elegant 18th-century architecture, making it a prime wedding venue in the South of France. Featured in Vogue, the Chateau has played host to celebrity weddings, such as Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ wedding.
The chateau boasts spacious indoor halls and stunning outdoor settings, including beautifully landscaped gardens, a majestic fountain, and a stunning swimming pool. These versatile spaces are ideal for hosting both grand celebrations and more intimate gatherings, allowing couples to customize their wedding day to perfection.
In addition, guests can enjoy the chateau’s inside squash and fitness area and an outside multi-sport court for tennis, basketball or volleyball.
Onsite or Nearby Accommodation
The château offers luxurious accommodation with several beautifully appointed rooms, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay for guests.
The chateau’s onsite accommodation offers space for up to 29 guests.
“The Farm”, which are three charming buildings on the property, can accommodate up to 14 people in 7 en-suite bedrooms.
The chateau’s top-floor suites offer space for up to 9 guests. A further 3 suites, for up to 6 people, are available on the first floor of the chateau.
Additional accommodations are available nearby, providing convenience for those attending your wedding in this picturesque part of Provence.

The experienced team at Château de Tourreau works closely with couples to recommend top-tier wedding vendors in Provence, ensuring that every detail of your special day is flawlessly executed. It has a list of affiliated caterers, consisting of the top caterers in the region (Helen Traiteur / Frederic Bernard / L’éveil des Papilles / Brunch me Up).
The chateau’s permanent onsite team consists of a technician, gardener, and housemaid. Additional staff can be requested.

What Is the Best Time to Get Married in the South of France?
The best time to get married in the South of France is between May and September. The months with ideal weather conditions are June and late August to early September.
July and August, though very popular for weddings in the South of France, are very hot and attract domestic tourists during the summer holidays.
